Aga Francisco appointed chairman of FIBA Legal Commission

Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) legal counsel Atty. Edgar ‘Aga’ Francisco has been appointed a chairman of the FIBA Legal Commission.

The appointments were made during the first FIBA Central Board meeting for the new term last September 14 during the FIBA Basketball World Cup.

Francisco will be the chairman from 2019 to 2023.

Francisco will be the chairman of the Legal Commission with Yum Ramos of Puerto Rico serving as his deputy. There are 12 other members that compose the Legal Commission.

Prior to his appointment as chairman, Francisco has been very active in FIBA being a member of the Legal Commission. He has also been serving the SBP as its chief legal counsel.
