Bull By the Horn To Tackle the Business Side of Basketball

If the past three episodes of "Bull By the Horn" by Benny Benitez are an indication, this Saturday's episode is going to be a combination of a fun-filled discussion as well as a learning experience as the fourth episode of the podcast brought to you by Pinoyliga TV will tackle the business side of the sports that we Filipinos grew up to love.

Setting expectations on how the discussion will revolve on Saturday, Pinoyliga's founder, Benny Benitez said, "A new episode of Bull By the Horn is coming with the discussion centering on the business side of basketball" As we all know, basketball is still a business and among the business decision of the sports that one will need to make is hiring a sports agent who will represent you in contract negotiations. And more.  For that, there's no other person to talk to rather than one of the best and most sought-after player agents in the history of Philippine basketball as Benny Benitez is set to talk with the legendary Danny Espiritu who despite him being in his advanced age is still doing his magic as a player agent.  Also joining the elder Espiritu is his son, Marvin Espiritu who spearheaded the Espiritu Manotoc Basketball Management (EMBM) alongside Matthew Manotoc, son of PBA coach and Grand Slam winner, Tommy Manotoc. Right now, EMBM has 80 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) players who they represent and one of their clients- Arwind Santos of the San Miguel Beermen, is also set to join the discussion this Saturday.

Also set to be the episode's co-moderator is Epok Quimpo who is currently serving as the team manager of the Ateneo Blue Eagles Basketball Team.
