"It's a whole new game" That is what people have been describing the restart of the 2019-2020 season of the National Basketball Association (NBA) in Orlando, Florida. We can say the same thing about the upcoming NBA 2K21 that is set to be released on September 4, 2020.

In NBA 2K20, one of the biggest updates that gamers such as myself have actually enjoyed is the inclusion of Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) teams in a mode where WNBA fans can play as their favorite WNBA team and play a full-WNBA season up to the playoffs. Now, speculations are now coming out that 2K is looking to bring to the next level when it comes to the inclusion of the WNBA in the game.

Screenshots are now popping out on the Internet and in one of those screenshots, it shows that you can create your own WNBA player whom you will play as in the "MyCareer" mode of the game. Another screenshot revealed the possibility of WNBA players' illusion in the "MyTeam" mode.

We can expect a formal confirmation from 2K themselves in the coming days as we are inching closer towards the release date and this isn't actually the first time that something that is from the actual game has been leaked earlier and ended up being on the game. And if fans of women's basketball can now play as future WNBA players even if it's only virtually thru 2K21's "MyCareer" mode, that will not only bring it to the next level. "It's a whole new game" indeed.
