Fighting Pride

Fighting Pride is a mobile video game on the life and exploits of the only eight division world champion in the history of boxing, Manny Pacquiao.
The game is a collaboration between OMG Inc. led by OMG President Mike Ochosa and Ranida Games with Ben Banta at the helm as company CEO. According to Mike, the whole idea started in 2018 and the idea had to be sold to the Pac-Man.
Manny eventually bought into the concept which gave birth to, not just the game’s beginning, but also OMG Inc. The game will be available in 2021.
Last November 27, we were invited to attend a media round table discussion on the thought process surrounding the project and the technical in’s and out’s.
The game is and will be developed by Filipinos to showcase our talent in the field of game development. Part of Mike’s idea was to introduce Manny Pacquiao’s legacy to the next generation of Filipinos, what more than through a mobile game.
Personally, I think this is better and a uniquely out of the box way of narrating your life story more than writing a book or making a film. How about a last dance type of documentary on Manny Pacquiao’s life and boxing career?
