For a vast majority of volleyball fans of today, it was through ABS CBN Sports where we saw a glimpse of Alyssa Valdez and the now glimmering growth of Philippine women's volleyball. ABS-CBN Sports is and for many, will always be the "home of college sports" as it used to broadcast the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) games as the leagues' primary media partners. But with the broadcasting company's franchise not getting renewed, UAAP and NCAA along with other leagues are now looking for their new media partners.

Former student-athletes who became analysts for ABS-CBN Sports paid tribute with the likes of Alyssa Valdez, Charo Soriano, Ayel Estranero and, Anne Remulia giving thanks to  ABS-CBN's sports division for welcoming them as full-time volleyball analysts for "The Score" as the show held their farewell get-together via Zoom.

Valdez went on by expressing her gratitude to the network "Thank you very much for treating like your own child and a true Kapamilya" as the Queen Phenom of Ateneo had multiple runs as host and analyst with the company. Soriano, another Ateneo product, thanked the network for being the reason why women's volleyball has boomed to the way it is now with her saying "Thank you so much for believing in us. In believing in volleyball."

Former University of the Philippines Lady Maroon Estranero thanked ABS CBN Sports for providing the platform for volleyball players such as herself to look back at her career in Diliman. Estranero acknowledged that "ABS-CBN Sports played an integral role in my growth as an athlete and as a person" Remulia, a former Lady Spiker of La Salle, is thankful for the trust the company has given and that she was able to share her knowledge of the game by being a volleyball analyst.
