Gilas' Doha Bubble Schedule Announced

Gilas Pilipinas will have a heavy schedule for the final window of the 2021 International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Asia Cup qualifiers in which the nationals will play in another bubble in Doha, Qatar.

On February 18, the Filipinos will play against arch-nemesis, South Korea. That game is set at 10 PM (Manila time). Gilas will next face a Lester Prosper-led Indonesian team on February 20 at 4 PM as the curtain raiser of a double-header before wrapping things up against Korea for the second time in the window as Gilas and the Koreans will dance anew on February 22 to cap off a  four-game slate.

Heading into the February window, Gilas Pilipinas stands at the top of the Group A standings with a 3-0 slate. The Filipinos only need one more win to secure a slot in the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup which is set in August. The Doha bubble will also serve as the venue for Kai Sotto's debut with the men's national team.
