Gilas Pilipinas Women to see action in the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup

After its successful campaign in the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2019, the Gilas Pilipinas Women will once again see action this time in the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup Women 2019.

The event will be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia with Gilas Pilipinas Women eyeing another good showing under the auspices of head coach Patrick Aquino.

The team is composed of Ella Fajardo, Camille Clarin, Angel Surado, and Karl Ann Pingil as they compete in the June 3-7 tilt.

The Philippines is bracketed in Pool C where they will be joined by France, Netherlands, Mongolia, and Czech Republic. France and Netherlands are ranked third and sixth respectively in the tournament, while Mongolia is one of the top nations in Asia as far as 3x3 is concerned.

But the U18 team hopes to draw inspiration from the Gilas Pilipinas Women team that reached the quarterfinals in the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2019 before losing to eventual champion Australia.
