Greatest corner in MMA history

The baddest corner ever? Yeah, you’d be hard pressed to find a better corner in MMA than the  four gentlemen in the photo this writer screen captured on their Instagram page. I was going through my Instagram when I saw the picture.

The picture was The Avengers of MMA coaches or The Justice League, whichever floats your boat. It’s tough to make an argument against these and I can imagine how it must be difficult to coach against them.

GSP is one of the greatest ever in MMA and you see why. Corners in contact sports like boxing, MMA, wrestling, kickboxing, Muay Thai and bare knuckle fighting is the difference between a fighter’s success or failure, victory or defeat.

Greg Jackson is the Co-owner of the world famous Jackson-Wink MMA located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The list of champions and contenders that train with them is too long a list, that’s just the fighters they’re training. The champions they’ve produced is a longer list of names like Jon Jones, GSP, BJ Penn and Holly Holm on the women’s side.

Firas Zahabi, John Danaher and Phil Nurse complete the corner’s corner. I call Greg Jackson the “Phil Jackson” of MMA because of the number of champions that he’s produced and trained.

In my opinion, Jon Jones and GSP are the two best fighters they’ve ever trained. They say that “the proof is in the pudding”, these two fighters hardly have any weaknesses in their game. Both can either strike standing up submit you on the ground. Neither would’ve gotten to where they are now without Jackson Wink MMA.
