If there is one thing basketball fans should stop doing, it's counting Steph Curry out of the picture.

A two-time National Basketball Association (NBA) Most Valuable Player (MVP) who is leading a young and struggling Golden State Warriors squad, Steph Curry shut down critics by scoring a career-high 62 points in the Warriors' 137-122 victory against the Portland Trail Blazers. Incidentally, Curry's 62-point performance came after Damian Lillard said this: "With the injuries that the Warriors have been dealing with and Steph playing with a younger team right now, he's seeing that it's tough to get those quality looks right now,"

That 62-point outburst capped off a strong week for the 32-year old son of Dell Curry as the young Curry got named as the Western Conference Player of the Week for week number two of the 2020-2021 regular season. The Warriors played three games the past week highlighted by back-to-back games against Portland. Golden State went 2-1 in those games. Curry averaged 39 points, six rebounds, five assists, and five made threes in that span. In his January 3 outburst, he shot eight for 16 from the three-point line.

For the season, Curry is currently the NBA's second-leading scorer with a 32-point per game average. It's a clear sign that Steph Curry still has his game and that, people shouldn't forget how good a shooter Curry really is.

As his reaction to the criticisms said, "You know the Jordan meme (from The Last Dance), right? I take that personally,"
