United City announced four more signings this week as their inaugural squad takes its own shape.

After getting the services of Stephan Schrock as their first-ever signings, it was a reunion of sorts as familiarity came into play for in recruiting them to the newcomers of the Philippines Football League.

The mentioned quartet were teammates of the Azkals skipper in Ceres-Negros, in which they won the PFL and the Copa Paulino Alcantara last season, winning all but three matches in their unbeaten run for the Double.

Leading the signings is winger OJ Porteria, in which he will be reunited with defender Sean Kane, and goalkeepers Ronilo Bayan and Florencio Badelic.

"Let's get to work," said the wily winger on his Instagram account, in which he thanked United City for the chance to get back in action.
Both Porteria and Kane started in Ceres' last-ever match, a 4-0 rout of Indonesia's Bali United last March 11 that turned out to be the last fixture ever played before the country was put on a lockdown that is now four months long.

Porteria added that their goals have not been changed, yet he sends his commiserations to the supporters of the Busmen as the club shifts ownership.

"You won't wanna miss it," he then said.

It has been expected that United City will reveal more players within this week as they aim to resume training for the PFL, which targets its much anticipated kick-off in September.
