Gilas Pilipinas' preparations for the upcoming third window of the 2021 International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Asia Cup qualifiers got a big boost as more Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) players have already entered the training bubble in Calamba, Laguna. And more are still confirmed to follow suit.

Following the lead of Kiefer Ravena, CJ Perez, and Justin Chua,  RR Pogoy and Troy Rosario of the TNT Tropang Giga are confirmed to be joining the training bubble as both TNT players are scheduled to enter on Friday. Pogoy and Rosario are no longer strangers to the national team as they last suited up for Gilas during the first window of the Asia Cup qualifiers in Indonesia where they beat the Indonesians, 100-70.

Another PBA player who is set to get his first experience as a member of the national team training pool is Raul Soyud of the NLEX Road Warriors. Soyud is also one of the candidates for last season's Most Improved Player plum that was eventually won by Prince Caperal of the Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings.

Gilas Pilipinas is set to play three games for the third window of the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers in a bubble in Clark from February 18 to 22. The Filipinos will face long-time nemesis, Korea, twice plus another home game against Indonesia. The Filipinos only need to win one more game to secure a slot in the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup.
