National Half-Marathon Virtual Challenge

Only people from aged 18-59 years old can join. You can use a treadmill, you can run outside and you can look for a trail or a sports facility that’s open to be able to compete.

Last Thursday, we were invited to the press launch of PATAFA’s (Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association) National Half-Marathon Virtual Challenge.

Present were PATAFA President Philip Juico, Fineguard CEO and a big supporter of Philippine athletics, James Lafferty and PATAFA Marketing Communications Executive Edward Kho.

Participants can begin registering on January 25. Fine Guard is the title sponsor. Mr. Lafferty gave a short background on the mask and how he got started in supporting the sport.

Aside from Fineguard, Gatorade supports the National Half Marathon Virtual challenge.

It’ll be interesting to see how PATAFA will monitor all participants. With the outbreak, virtual and digital events have taken over.
