The Lakers had every chance to wrap the series in the dying moments of the fourth quarter but in the end, Jimmy Butler made sure that the Miami Heat aren't going home.

The Miami Heat extended the best-of-seven National Basketball Association (NBA) Finals to a Game Six after stunning the Los Angeles Lakers with a 111-108 Game Five thrilling victory. Jimmy Butler led the way again with 35 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists, and five steals. All of that in 47 minutes. He scored four points in the final minute. Duncan Robinson added 26 points and shot seven for 13 from the three-point line. Kendrick Nunn had 14 points off the bench while Bam Adebayo scored 13 points. Tyler Herro nailed the final two free throws that sealed the deal and finished with 12 points. The Heat shot 42% from the three-point line and only missed one free throw.

The Lakers had the chance to re-take the lead but Danny Green bricked yet another attempt from long distance with seven seconds to go and the Lakers turned the ball over off an offensive rebound. LeBron James had 40 points, 13 rebounds,  seven assists, and three steals in 42 minutes. Anthony Davis shrugged off an early injury scare to finish with 28 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, three steals, and three blocks. Kentavious Cardwell-Pope had 16 points. The Lakers were +10 in points in the paint but couldn't stop Jimmy Butler and Miami's three-point shooting.

The Lakers still have two more opportunities to finish this series beginning with Game Six on Monday (Manila time)
