On Thursday afternoon, Pinoyliga TV will co-produce Off the Record with Migs Bustos for the very first time, as the life lessons of Ateneo head coach Tab Baldwin will be on the spotlight.

It will be the third program to be produced by Pinoyliga TV, after the success of Bull By The Horn and Usapang PSL which were widely received on social media.

For him, it was an honor that his project has been picked up, after it was a product of two months of talks.

"Maraming salamat with this partnership," said the well-renowned basketball analyst, in which the program had multiple episodes already.

It was not the first time that both him and Pinoyliga were connected, in which the latter was featured in 2017 on ABS-CBN News Channel's Gametime, wherein it featured the firm's trademark statistics production in recreational leagues that caught his interest.

"Sobrang nakakataba ng puso. It's the hard work and the things that you put in," he then added. "I take that as an opportunity to prove myself and do my work better."

Off The Record has a diverse field of his guests since its conception during the first weeks of the lockdown, in line with his work with ABS-CBN wherein he covers more than just sports as he was an anchor in ANC's morning show Early Edition, apart from his role as an analyst in the NCAA and the ABL.

Ahead of the Thursday's episode, Bustos bared how much he had learned from the no-nonsense Baldwin, whose straight-up analysis on basketball in the country has earned not just the praises of the fans, but also the ire of the powers-that-be who took offense for no reason.

"He gives me something out of the box," he said. "Ang pinaka-tone ko dun is his life outside of basketball."

That episode will be live on Off The Record's Facebook page on 5:30 PM on Thursday.
