In an episode when it was supposed to be light, Bull By the Horn by Benny Benitez spared a few moments to pay tribute to someone who Benny Benitez calls a "good soul".

As Benny Benitez and Gilas Pilipinas Head Coach Jong Uichico took a walk down memory lane as they remember the five most memorable episodes of Bull By the Horn by Benny Benitez, Benitez admitted at the beginning of the last episode of the show for 2020, "I was very, very affected by the news that we got earlier this afternoon,"

Benitez was referring to the news that former San Beda Red Lion, Sudan Daniel passed away Saturday afternoon. He was 33.

Daniel was known to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) community as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) who led the San Beda Red Lions to a rare 18-0 sweep of Season 86 on top of taking home the Defensive Player of the Year and the Finals MVP awards.

"He's a good friend and it comes as a very big surprise to me and to the whole Bedan community to hear the sad news about the passing of one Sudan Daniel. I have many memories of this guy and one big memory was the first time we got together. He called me 'Kuya' and that's the kind of kind-person he is. He will be missed by our community," Benitez, the founder of pinoyliga.com, shared.

Before wrapping up the episode, Benitez also revealed an act of Daniel to which the former described the latter as a good soul. "He's a very gentle person. What happened was that we were supposed to build a training facility. We were looking at that already. Build a court and the training modules of Sudan Daniel would be used. He would be the lead trainer there,"

Benitez concluded, "We lost a good soul,"

Rest in peace, Sudan Daniel.
