San Juan still unbeaten, routs SOCCSKSARGEN

The San Juan Knights-Go for Gold took their fifth straight victory after a runaway victory over the SOCCSKSARGEN Marlins, 100-77, on Thursday in the MPBL Lakan Season at the Batangas City Coliseum.

Jhonard Clarito once again played an outstanding game after contributing 21 points in the Knights victory. Mark Cardona added 14 points for San Juan.

After giving up the first four points of the game, San Juan began to work in outscoring SOCCSKSARGEN with a 21-2 run. Clarito hit a triple and two free throws to end the first quarter with a 26-11 lead.

That first quarter was the ballgame for the Knights as they were not seriously threatened in the game.

Mike Ayonayon added 9 points and 8 assists, and John Wilson had 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals for San Juan.
