Saso Finishes 13th in US Women's Open Debut

In her debut in the US Women's Open of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), 19-year old golf sensation, Yuka Saso suffered a sub-par performance in the third round where she finished tied for 25th place entering the fourth round. She had a six-over-par-77 in round number three at the Champions Golf Club in Houston, Texas.

In the fourth round, Saso redeemed herself and shot a 72 for a five-over-par to finish at joint 13th place and take home 96,800 US Dollars. 

This year's US Women's Open was won by Kim A-Lim of South Korea who never won a major tournament outside of the Korean peninsula. 

Saso's fellow Filipina competitor, Bianca Pagdanganan missed the cut at the end of the second round.
