"Tatlong buwan kaming aasarin nito": San Beda B won over San Beda A in Pinoyliga

San Beda B defeated San Beda A 72-68 Saturday afternoon inside the Gatorade Hoops Centre.

Both squads showed extreme teamwork from the beginning to the end. Both San Beda teams had a tremendous number of assists. It was inch by inch game as both teams carries their pride of the Red Lions.

San Beda B had a magnificent start to the ball game scoring at will as they ended the first ten minutes of action with 27 points against the 22 of their opponent.

San Beda B took a two-point lead late in the game with a break-away layup after a Team A miss then Britt Reroma misses two free throws that could tie the game in the ensuing play.

San Beda B overcome their opponents recording more rebounds and showing more teamwork as all of their 12 players scored in the game. San Beda A missing more shots compared to their opponents mainly supported their loss.

Erl Merelos led the way for San Beda University- B having 13 points and 8 rebounds. Guiness Nabung also helped his team by scoring 10 points. Notably for SBU-B is their own Rodman, Joseph Repol, despite making only one basket he grabbed 11 boards to help his team get the win.

Former Finals MVP Shin Dela Cruz gave San Beda A a stellar performance scoring 22 points, 8 rebounds 4/6 from the three-point area. On his side, Ernest Medina scored 11 in 13 minutes.
