Another bubble in Philippine sports is about to open.

The Philippine Golf Tour (PGT) will hold bubble tournaments for both its men's and women's competitions as the men's and women's are set to resume on November 17 to 20, and on December 8 to 11 respectively at the  Rivera's Couples and Langer's courses in Silang, Cavite. The resumption of the PGT in a bubble environment is a step towards emphasizing that golf is one of the safer sports that can resume amidst the 2019 Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

Over the weekend, a memo has been sent out to players which gives a detailed look at the health and safety procedures that they need to undergo before entering the bubble. Among the mentioned procedures the mandatory Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) swab test as well as the Standard Q COVID-19 test. Body temperature will be checked on a daily basis and players will need to fill out a questionnaire that would include the results of the tests which the PGT will submit to the Games and Amusement Board (GAB).

78 players are expected to participate in the bubble.
