The SBP Coaches Academy eLearning Series is ready for launch!

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) has heard the clamor of Filipino coaches all over the country for an official series of coaching modules to be shared.

In response to the challenges of the prevailing COVID19 epidemic, which derailed the SBP’s planned coaching clinics, the national governing body of basketball has conceived and will deliver the SBP Coaches Academy eLearning Series.

“The SBP Coaches Academy, headed by coach Jong Uichico, prepared instructional videos showing fundamental basketball drills that are aimed to cater particularly to the Philippines’ grassroots basketball coaches,” according to SBP coach Mark Solano. “These drills include strength and conditioning, dribbling, passing, shooting, and rebounding.”

Episode 1 of the series will be released on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 8:00pm, with planned twice-a-week releases that will be uploaded on the official Facebook pages of the SBP Coaches Academy and the SBP. The episodes will be released every Wednesday and Friday.
