The TerraFirma Dyip once again found themselves on the cusp of getting the best rookie for the third year in a row as they hold the top pick for the 2021 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Rookie Drat that is slated on March 14, 2021. Touted by many as one of the deepest draft class in recent memory, this year's draft will feature a great mixture of former collegiate big shots and if the PBA decides to change its rules on Filipino-foreign players joining the draft, a bunch of Filipino-foreign players loaded with experience playing in the international stage. Guys like Jaime Malonzo, Joshua Munzon, and potentially, Jason Brickman are going to be easy selections for TerraFirma.
There are also the names of Alvin Pasaol, Santi Santillan, Troy Rike, Andre Paras, among others.
For Roosevelt Adams, this draft, which will be held virtually, will be a hard one owing to its depth before adding, "You can’t go wrong with whoever you pick, going from the first to the second round,”
For TerraFirma Head Coach Johnedel Cardel, it's about getting new faces from the draft and continuing to build the team's young core. "We need new faces so we’ll be able to compete and maybe get to the quarterfinals once and for all,”
