It was not just Aldin Ayo that left the den of UST, as two of his deputies had tendered their resignations at the beleaguered Growling Tigers as the fallout from the "Bicol bubble" continues.

Saturday also see McJour Luib and Jinino Manansala left the team to follow the mastermind behind the Mayhem, with the university had accepted their resignations "with a heavy heart".

"The Thomasian community conveys its gratitude to them for their service to the University," said in the statement released by the university's secretary-general.

A former Letran guard like his mentor, Luib came along with Ayo in Espana last 2018 after two seasons  with La Salle, while Manansala was just appointed as Bonnie Garcia's successor for the Tiger Cubs this month with the latter having a stellar coaching career with St. Clare after spending his playing days with UST under the late Aric Del Rosario.

The University assured of its commitment to the welfare of its student-athletes, as they are looking to rebuild their programs "through compassion and competence."

"We wish them well in their future endeavors," their statement concluded.
