For those who have been waiting long enough to see Rachel Anne Daquis and hard-hitting spikes on the court, the wait may be ending soon.
Just last week, the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and the Philippine Football League (PFL) were given the go-signal to resume team training upon the release of the joint administrative order of the Games and Amusement Board (GAB), Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), and the Department of Health (DOH). And Philippine SuperLiga (PSL) Chairman Philip Ella Juico said last week that they expect the same order to be given to the PSL this week. And true enough, it happened as the joint administrative order from the concerned government agencies has been formally released which means PSL teams can resume training as soon as the national government lifts the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) that has been placed in Metro Manila that started today until August 18.
While there's still the uncertainty of whether or not MECQ will be lifted after August 18, the release of the said joint administrative order of the GAB, PSC, and the DOH is still a welcome development for the volleyball community as it moves the PSL a step closer towards their target resumption of the All-Filipino conference.
